- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute on product and business strategy and develop novel products and features for Reddit users - Contribute to the full development cycle including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch of new features - Participate in a team of motivated engineers, contribute to improving developer workflows, recommend best practices, and mentor other engineers to enhance their technical expertise - Continuously learn and enhance both technical and non-technical skills to stay updated with industry trends and best practices - Additional knowledge in general-purpose programming languages like Java, Python, Go, Rust, C++, and experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and API design is a plus

- Experienced software developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing user-facing iOS mobile native applications at scale using Swift - Strong expertise in Swift and Objective-C with familiarity in software engineering best practices such as testing, CI/CD, A/B testing, and code reviews - Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience - Enjoys building new products, thrives in ambiguity, and values innovation
