Trade Marketing Insights Specialist

The Trade Marketing Insights Specialist is a position that provides invaluable insights to Trade Marketing team, Sales Director and CEO on business performance identifying core issues and opportunities by leveraging deep analytical insights for business growth. The role involves extracting, synthesizing, translating and presenting to all the stakeholders from various sources into actionable strategies for volume growth, distribution enhancement, and executional excellence, ultimately contributing to market share gains.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze internal and external data, sources including DMS, SFA, SAP reports, time and attendance, Nielsen data, Syndicated studies on MIP to formulate a strategic action plan for driving key business KPIs.
  • Enhance engagement and evolve systems through regular interaction with service providers to build a robust and effective infrastructure and modules that minimizes planning lead times and optimizes front-end execution.
  • Innovate and develop new modules to facilitate the upskilling of the workforce through advanced systems, Engaging Interactive tools ensuring timely and accurate data utilization and projections for all business KPIs at various levels and geographies
  • Evaluate investments across channels for premium in-store executions, coordinate with cross-functional teams including Field sales, trade marketing, Key accounts, operations, and finance to ensure cohesive efforts on building a ROI monitor that lays out going forward strategy under start, stop and continue.
  • Contribute to RTM strategy optimization in alignment with the AB1 consumer target, including rationalization and frequency mapping
  • Assist region and field teams in building customer engagement supporting with tools that monitors and drives business KPIs, ensuring precise reviews and routines across team.
  • Manage all aspects of reporting, including local and international monthly and quarterly business reviews, sharing insights and business plans, and distributing tools with appropriate narrations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in management is preferred, with a specialization in Sales, Trade Marketing, or Analytics
  • 7-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the FMCG/Retail industry

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to integrate information from diverse sources into comprehensive, actionable insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills with a consultative approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in various software tools for data extraction, analytics & insight visualization
