The role of the Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is to drive product sales and enhance product placement at all on-premise and off-premise store locations within a designated territory. The ISM's primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding service to all customers while boosting brand visibility and market penetration through the use of effective sales strategies, market analysis, and field sales execution.
Management:
Manage all Red Bull products and accounts by ensuring 100% compliance with established call frequency standards.
Resolve issues, maintain accurate call records, and follow up on all orders.
Establish new account relationships within designated markets.
Assess current and ongoing product needs to drive sales growth.
Utilize all sales tools provided by the Red Bull Distribution Company (RBDC) and maintain clear communication with Area Sales Managers (ASMs) regarding executional activities.
Execution:
Develop plan to execute all daily account calls, tracking results and next call account targets
Drive in store execution by hitting monthly KPI targets, call frequencies and sales volume rates
Evaluate and communicate all competitors' activities such as new launches and price reductions
Complete various outbound REACH projects as assigned (following provided scripts, complete 100% of assigned calls, and bring positive attitude with a focus on winning)
Build and protect the Red Bull brand
Bring energy and a "Can Do" attitude everyday
Building Success:
Collaborate with members of RBDC distribution teams to develop and execute programs.
Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices. Act as a major contributor/leader among peer group.
Maintain and grow the relationship with the customer contacts at each RBDC assigned account.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities
Proficiency in mathematical skills
Strong organizational abilities and the capability to establish and maintain relationships with customer contacts
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in general computer use and familiarity with various software programs
Adopts a proactive, hands-on approach to personal development
Previous sales experience, with inside sales experience considered an advantage
Proven track record of success in sales
In-depth knowledge of the beverage market
Comprehensive understanding of the direct store delivery (DSD) business model
Proficiency in additional languages is an asset
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa. The base salary range for this position is $41,600 - $62,400 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
