A dynamic technology distributor in the telecoms sector is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Internal Sales Assistant to support their day-to-day sales operations. This role involves handling customer interactions, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both walk-in and remote clients.

Responsibilities:

• Handle walk-in sales
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner
• Accurately process sales orders and prepare them for shipment or collection
• Ensure a high level of customer service at all times
• Maintain an organised and presentable sales area and stockroom
• Assist with general admin related to sales and customer accounts

Requirements:

• A relevant Diploma/Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or Customer Service
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Confidence in managing customer service and internal sales interactions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
• Computer literacy (e.g., email, order systems, Excel)
• Previous experience in retail, internal sales, or customer-facing roles
• Interest in or understanding of telecommunications or fibre optic products
• Friendly and approachable personality
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude
• Strong work ethic and accountability
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Patience and empathy when dealing with customer queries
• Team player who also works well independently
