We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Engineering Manager to lead our local development teams and shape the foundation for the future digital solutions for the real estate brokerage industry.

You will play a key role in ensuring high technical quality, strong leadership, and a healthy collaborative culture locally, while also being part of an international setup with ambitious goals and great trust.

In this role, you will have direct responsibility for 10-15 developers, and you will be a central sparring partner for both product management, and the regional business and international technical leadership. You work both strategically and operationally, and you are not afraid to set direction and execute.

Your responsibilities

Lead and develop developers through 1:1 conversations, coaching, and career development – with a focus on high well-being, motivation, and strong collaboration. You ensure good performance for both the individual and the team as a whole.

Ensure technical ownership and collaboration: You create the frameworks for developers to take ownership of their solutions and work closely with the product team to find the best solutions together.

Build a healthy engineering culture with a balance between quality, innovation, and speed. You promote modern best practices, clean code, test coverage, AI-assisted development, and automation.

Drive technical strategy and initiatives in close collaboration with the regional CTPO, and other tech and product leaders. You help mature both architecture and organization with a view to future growth, security, stability, and competitiveness.

Support strong collaboration and delivery processes that support continuous shipping and high product quality. You work closely with QA, DevOps, and product management to create flow and transparency.

Recruit and develop the team: You contribute to attracting and retaining strong profiles and ensure that the team has the right competencies both now and moving forward.

Represent the development organization in front of the management team and participate in decisions that shape our products, platforms, and organization.

Each team has a dedicated Scrum Master who helps with process improvements, protects the processes, and facilitates collaboration.
