Systems Integration & Test Engineer

Raytheon is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support Exportability (XP) as part of the Missile Defense Programs (MDP) Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) discipline. The successful candidate will be responsible for integration, regression and verification of exportability capabilities in advanced radar systems. This role requires an understanding of radar platforms, system integration and test principles, and exportability techniques to ensure successful implementation.

What You Will Do

  • Support implementation of Exportability solutions into RTX products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, testing, and validation to ensure successful integration and functionality of exportability capabilities.
  • Develop and execute integration plans, schedules, and procedures to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Perform system-level analyses and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
  • Conduct system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
  • Understanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policies.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming language.
  • Experience with systems Integration, test, data analysis, and/or verification.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience integrating AN/TPY-2 product in both domestic and FMS configurations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience contributing in a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
