Job Description

Provide technical support to shop operations across internal repair (IR), engine and module assembly, ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards. Develop, implement and optimise assembly and repair processes, with focus on automation and robotics integration. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment/process issues with system integrators, including fault code analysis. Drive execution of automation and technology projects with cross-functional stakeholders. Partner with OEMs on tooling design modifications and support localisation of automation solutions. Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies. Oversee Process Certification and PPAP activities to ensure quality compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce turnaround time and optimise cost. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Lead or support special engineering and automation projects as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3 years' experience in robotics troubleshooting and testing. Proficiency in robotics systems (ABB, FANUC, Yaskawa) and PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron). Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in team environments. Strong analytical thinking at both macro and detail levels.

Qualifications We Prefer

Knowledge of vision systems and motion control. Exposure to aero engine systems and major modules. Experience in tooling design and/or 3D modelling. Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Experience in process improvement, automation or manufacturing environments.
