Internship dates: August 31st to December 18th, 2026.

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

During the internship, the student will have the opportunity to increase its technical knowledge regarding aircraft turbine engines, mainly the performance during operation, proactive maintenance, troubleshooting and associated solutions.

The intern will be required to work with the team and be capable to seek support within engineering. Interactions with different departments within P&WC and engine service centers will be required. Additionally, the intern will be required to work with different software and data bases to link several types of information and/or parameters to determine proactive trends.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Within the course of this internship, the student will be responsible of:

• Analyse PT6E-series and PT6A reliability data: Hours and cycles of operation, symptoms and cause of event, the recurrence and potential solutions;
• Analyse warranty financial impact, determine root cause to elaborate technical solutions with engineering.
• Improve and standardise PT6E-series/PT6A engine maintenance manuals, including troubleshooting.

What do you need to be successful?

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering.
• Good aptitudes in communication in French (spoken/written).

Assets:

• Data Analytic skills.
• Knowledge of Python code.
• Turbine engine knowledge.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
