Facilities Management construction project manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of a construction project, in the safest construction environment, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications by coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, while managing resources, quality control, and resolving any issues that may arise throughout the construction process.

What You Will Do:

  • Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists. Select subcontractors and schedule and coordinate their activities. Monitor projects and report progress and budget matters to the senior leadership, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead expense and capital funded projects.
  • Manage MOC's, RFQ's, RFI's, Contractor Coordinator (JSA's), PSSR's, etc.
  • Support construction projects in and outdoors.
  • Maintain budgets for expense projects, support capital project budget maintenance. Maintain a project schedule in an excel worksheet and/or MS Project.
  • Maintain well organized records of all projects in process. Plan and develop project scope.
  • Manage construction projects in the safest environment.
  • Create and lead a teams. Monitor project progress and set deadlines / milestones. Evaluate project performance.
  • Manage the PBC Planning & Zoning, Land Development Process.
  • Site Liaison for the RTX site land planning consultant. Manage the PBC P&Z, Bldg. Dept. Permitting process.
  • Site Liaison between the RTX WPB site and PBC Bldg. Department
  • Manage/ oversite of the State of Florida Third Party Private Provider Inspector Process.
  • Manage / oversite of the F&S WPB Capital annual plan. Site Liaison between the RTX WPB site and FM Global Representative (Bldg. Infrastructure).

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Construction knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to communicate with tradespersons, customers, and management.
  • Knowledge of industrial facilities and process service equipment.
  • Knowledge of typical utility requirements.
  • Knowledge of typical utility failures.
  • Experience managing contractors conducting work onsite.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products for daily work.
  • Knowledge and experience with construction project management software.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
