Aerospace Engineering Role
This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
What you will do:
- Create and maintain RAIL, Initiate RLPM Plans Review and Tailoring with IPMT and Ensure checklists are completed,
- Lead Plan templates are completed to corresponding Gate requirements
- Lead TNT completion with Eng. Focals and Chief, Support in PEPP (NAR) Key customer meetings during pursuit phase.
- Responsible for coordination and overseeing of administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines while also liaising between project management and planning and line management.
- Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
- Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Participates in Business Development, Program and engineering activities that further success of overall project objectives.
- Participates in the coordination, preparation and maintenance of project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met.
- Schedule and manage IPMT meetings
- Ensure pursuit deck is completed per Pursuit schedule
- Schedule and Lead Engineering Kickoff (RAR)
- Initiate Compliance Matrix Review

Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications we prefer:
- Experience with schedules, financials and managing medium to large projects
- Experience with engineering estimations
- Experience in project engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including through written reports and verbal presentations.
- Experience creating clear, concise, and well-structured technical documents, reports, and proposals, including requirements, design details, and testing procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project), with the ability to create detailed reports, presentations, schedules, and project tracking documents.
- PMP Certification
- Team Center, ALM Polarium or equivalent experience
