Lifecycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following engineering disciplines: Reliability, System Safety and Supportability.
The Senior Principal Reliability Engineer will develop and implement Reliability engineering strategy and lead a Reliability engineering team supporting development, production and sustainment product phases. This includes developing reliability requirements, analyses, and test methodology. The Senior Principal Reliability Engineer will be expected to have deep knowledge and experience with a variety of reliability engineering sub-disciplines including Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) process optimization, Reliability Predications, Derating Analysis and overseeing Failure Reporting and Corrective Action (FRACAS) practitioners. In the course of their job responsibilities, the Senior Principal Reliability Engineer will interface closely with program and functional leadership, as well as customers, and oversee reliability engineers of varying experience levels, including mentoring and coaching.

The salary range for this role is $124,000 - $250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
