Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is seeking a talented Senior Platform Linux (FEP) Engineer with experience in traditional infrastructure design to support our Linux based Front End Processing (FEP) system. The FEP Engineer would be engaged in the design and architecture of the system and will interface both with Program IPT Management as well as team members in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to help develop the environment from requirements.
The Senior Platform Linux (FEP) Engineer will support design, development, and implementation of traditional computer/network/storage systems for this effort. This includes getting familiar with existing operating systems and existing server hardware designs to emulate what is needed in the FEP environment.
The Ideal candidate will be well versed in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based environments, have a good understanding of traditional on premises Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) infrastructure systems to design, develop, and maintain the program's FEP equipment used as the interface between satellite command and control systems and Ground Terminal (GT) equipment.
Note: This position will be in Aurora CO; and some travel (up to 10%) to customer sites may be required to support deployed systems / configurations and testing.

This position requires security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

The salary range for this role is $82,000 - $164,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
