Senior Engineer, Service Engineering
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Engineer, Service Engineering professional to join our team. This position will play a critical role in supporting Patriot recapitalization (Overhaul), reset (Repair), sustainment, and field operations. You will be responsible for supporting multiple partner programs, leading logistics activities, and serving as a Patriot missile system Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our forward office.
What You Will Do:
- Manage RTX Overhaul (RECAP)/Repair (RESET) programs, including customer support for and White Sands Missile Range (WSMR); resolve issues in coordination with RTX Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) teams.
- Manage LEAD R&R programs, coordinating with Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) and PFO-C for execution and issue resolution.
- Manage Vendor R&R programs (customers include Repair and Overhaul, WSMR, and Sustainment AA9).
- Oversee and manage programs: DSLC, RLRIU, Sweep IX, Sweep X, and DEX (receipt, stock control, and distribution).
- Provide general warehouse management and accountability for materials.
- Support the Forward Office and U.S. Government in all aspects of recapitalization, including planning, briefings, shipping/receiving (commercial and military), and fielding management when government representatives are unavailable.
- Act as the Patriot System SME for the Field Office, addressing all technical questions, troubleshooting, and supporting modification and fault resolution.
- Support system design initiatives for technology refresh and obsolescence management.
- Participate in the development and upgrade of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
- Conduct training, field support, and briefings to ensure effective integration and operational readiness.
- Travel to customer and fielding sites in support of testing, upgrades, and training.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
- Experience with the Patriot Product Line (i.e Overhaul (Recapitalization), Repair (Reset), Sustainment, Modifications, Troubleshoot, resolve faults with the Patriot Radar and/or other Patriot subsystems).
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong experience with Patriot modifications, sustainment, or field operations.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve faults with the Patriot Radar and other Patriot subsystems.
- Working knowledge of Technical Data Packages (TDPs), Product Data Management (PDM), and recapitalization processes.
- Microsoft Office product skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
- Security+ or equivalent industry-recognized security certification.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
