Collins Aerospace Power & Controls division is seeking a Senior Principal Project Engineer to work within our Program Engineering office to help lead and drive all engineering efforts on our Engine Control Systems (ECS) in support of the Pratt & Whitney small engine programs.
In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-performance, highly reliable control systems and components that power the current generation of highly efficient, sustainable, and modern commercial aircraft. Acting as a primary engineering interface within the Program Management Team, you will ensure seamless technical execution across all phases of the program from development through delivery while aligning engineering strategy with program goals.
You will collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, executive program leadership, and serve as the key technical liaison with our customer, Pratt & Whitney. This is a highly visible and influential position that offers the opportunity to shape product performance, strengthen customer relationships, and make a direct impact on Collins' continued success in aerospace systems.
Ideally, this will be a hybrid role (combination of onsite and remote work) based in Windsor Locks, CT. Will consider preferred candidates for a remote role with additional travel requirements (up to 20%).

Role type definition:
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
*Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
