Raytheon Vision System is hiring a Sr Manager for the Semiconductor Product Engineers. This position is responsible for managing the Focal Plane Operations Product Engineering group, whose responsibilities are for technical performance, cost, and schedule for the various infrared Focal Plane Array (FPA) products. The product engineering manager has responsibility for managing this large functional team of product engineers, ensuring that they are an effective cross-functional conduit between Program Management, the factory, and all support functions.
The product engineers are responsible for the total program life cycle from bid/proposal through delivery of product. Product engineers make strategic decisions for the direction of the program related to manufacturing plans and program execution. Some product engineers are the cost account managers for their programs, using EVMS tools, and are responsible for generating robust EAC's. Product engineers are also responsible for cost reduction initiatives, yield improvement projects, and RCCA's, including scoping projects, obtaining funding, and driving technical progress across a cross-functional team.
The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
