Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is a world leader in the research, design, and manufacturing of focal plane arrays and flight-based vision systems.
RVS is seeking a Process Engineer with a background in supporting Vacuum Dewar Fabrication. This position will focus on processes and techniques required to support the manufacture Infrared Vacuum Dewars specifically as it relates to material testing and failure analysis. The selected candidate will work with a team of Technicians, Product Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Equipment Engineers in an ISO Class 5 Clean Room setting.
The position will also include managing process development and improvement projects, including novel processing techniques, yield increase, throughput, and safety improvements. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing material in WIP, certifying operators and hands on processing testing and failure analysis. The candidate should have familiarity with some or all these processes: Precision Alignment, Wire bond, Vacuum Processing, Leak Check, Plating, Photolithography, and Metrology.
