Raytheon's Air Defense and Command & Control Department within Systems Integration & Test is seeking Engineers to support Patriot program. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the effort to coordinate verification of Missile subassembly requirements and prepare verification artifacts for delivery to the customer. Ensure artifacts are properly prepared and ready for customer review.
  • Interface with the customer, which includes scheduling and leading review meetings and technical discussions.
  • Support planning, design and execution of integration and validation tests for hardware and software modifications to the Patriot Missile and/or Patriot System.
  • Support Validation Ground Test and Flight Test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
  • Prepare plans, procedures, and test cases.
  • Develop detailed integration information sheets and detailed verification information sheets.
  • Perform work on DOORS requirements database to update and maintain the Verification Cross Reference Matrix.
  • Up to 10% domestic travel to White Sands Missile Range and Huntsville.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix.
  • Experience with DOORS.
  • Experience with System Integration, test, and/or Verification.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with the integration and test of radar hardware and software capabilities.
  • Experience with creating test scripts, and/or conducting performance analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, customer focus, collaboration, and multitasking skills.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
