The Secure Systems Department is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (SE) to help grow a new and exciting secure system product line. The qualified candidate will have extensive systems engineering experience throughout the Engineering V Model with a deep knowledge of secure systems.
This position requires onsite presence in McKinney, TX. An active Secret security clearance is required prior to the first day.
The Principal Systems Engineer (SE) will technically lead a team of 3-5 systems engineers across multiple programs and IRAD to ensure robust secure solutions are verified and validated in a fast-paced agile environment. The candidate will work collaboratively with the product line Chief Engineer, Technical Director, Architect, Integrated Product Team Leads, and other discipline Team Leads to ensure all efforts achieve their objectives. The candidate will drive a scaled agile systems process working with product owners and functional leads to reduce time to market to meet our customers' ever-changing requirements. This individual will have a proven history of pushing teams toward new and innovative processes, tools, and a quality focused culture. The SE is a technical leader whose roles and responsibilities include derivation of requirements, architecture design, test planning and execution, implementing agile processes and tools, leading bids and proposal work, and working across the engineering functions to achieve program objectives.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
