We are looking for a skilled and driven Quality Engineer to join a leading aerospace organization, where quality, precision, and compliance are paramount. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams through Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, addressing non-conformances, production deviations, and customer complaints with a focus on long-term solutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional team in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure. Implement projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
  • Lead quality investigations related to production deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and dashboards to monitor operational performance.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operation, and supplier quality to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Review and approve manufacturing process changes, validations, and product documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Zero, PFMEA, MPR projects and process optimization.
  • Support training and development of quality standards and procedures across operations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on quality tools, methods, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with leading root cause corrective action (RCCA) and applying quality methodology and tool
  • Working experience with drawings/specs and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g.AS9100. AS9145).
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, process validation, and statistical methods.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience with leading root cause corrective action (RCCA) and applying quality methodology and tool
  • Working experience with drawings/specs and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience quality systems, process validation, and statistical methods

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in any of the following is highly desired: Six Sigma, Process Certification, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Product Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Experienced in 8D, quality tools, 5 Whys of Root Cause Analysis, and SPC analysis.
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team and provide forecasting to reach established goals.
  • Ability to assimilate, analyze, and present data to leaders, customers, and peers.
  • Experiencing interfacing with internal and external customers as well as all levels of personnel.
  • AS9100 preferred

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
