Advanced Product Center Operations Product Manager

The Advanced Product Center is seeking an individual with operations experience who will be responsible for guiding operations execution across multiple Raytheon programs.

The successful candidate will ensure that functional and factory areas are executing on strategies to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements while focusing on profitability, improved ROI and sustained growth.

The APC Operations Product Manager will be accountable for schedule performance, Hour Per Unit (HPU), Out of Flow (OOF) yield, risk and opportunity management, operational efficiencies and continuous improvement for program(s) up to $100M in overall scope.

The successful candidate will lead collaboratively across all of Operations and Supply Chain and key business partners in the Program Operations Management (POM), Program Management Office (PMO), Engineering and Mission Assurance. Demonstrated performance in business operations, performance measurement systems, command media, program lifecycle management and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

The candidate will lead or support Factory meetings such as HMT, Retrospective/IPT and Tiers. The candidate may also need to support or lead production activities.

What You Will Do

  • Direct engagement with teams responsible in the assembly and test of electronic and/or mechanical products.
  • Production Control (PC) planning and management, build process benchmarking, creation of current and future state value stream maps.
  • Implement plans for getting from present to future, proposal efforts, ad-hoc requests from Programs/POM.
  • Own LRE/EAC activities with Programs for factory to include HPU's, Scrap & Attrition.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Experience using business and project management tools and procedures such as Risk Management, and/or Financial Forecast
  • Experience using metrics to develop implementation of the MRP plan while achieving cost and quality requirements
  • Experience in factory operations, engineering and/or supply chain with experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) and leading in a team environment.
  • U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing policies and procedures and/or experience with RF Components, RF Subassemblies, and RF Subsystems
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean, Six Sigma/CORE, and other Operational Excellence methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to storyline and prepare executive-level discussion documents with a demonstrated ability to influence different styles
  • Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution
  • Experience using metrics to develop implementation of the Build Plan or MRP plan while achieving cost and quality requirements

Location: North Texas

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
