Manufacturing Engineering Business Process Expert (ME BPE)

The Manufacturing Engineering Business Process Expert (ME BPE) will support Operations manufacturing activities through support of Manufacturing Engineering PRISM users and Factory CMES users. Activities will include a broad range of organizational engagement from direct end user support, to training, systems test, business process design and optimization, internal consulting and advocacy of PRISM functionality. BPEs work with customers and team members primarily through virtual communication (Zoom, Teams, etc), but will occasionally perform functions (site deployments, planning events) face to face.

BPE's understand PRISM, business processes and apply improvement concepts for process redesign. The assignment will include working closely with a small team of other BPEs on Effectors activities as well as representing Effectors in cross business corporate engagements.

The position may be filled by any employee working within proximity to existing Raytheon factories. The ME BPE will have a focus area in either Production or Depot related manufacturing activities.

What You Will Do:

  • Support Manufacturing Ops PRISM users on a day to day basis with PRISM-related process and transactional questions
  • Look for opportunities to continually improve PRISM through enhancements and break-fix support
  • Create and deploy PRISM training content to help elevate users' knowledge and experience using PRISM
  • Connect users and factories with existing PRISM capabilities to help improve efficiency and reduce overall support costs
  • Lead or support various projects related to system and business process improvement.
  • Limited travel (5-10%)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with SAP within the Operations and Supply Chain Organization
  • Experience with data gathering, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
  • Experience using digital tools daily (Microsoft Office, Teams, OneNote, Zoom)
  • Experience utilizing PRISM and/or SAP in support of the various program and factory lifecycles/phases (Development, Transition to Production, Production, Depot)

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with the various Manufacturing transactions and processes within Raytheon's instance of SAP, PRISM (e.g. Material Master, Routing, CMES, EWI, CABS, QNs, etc)
  • Experience presenting, verbally and in writing, technical and non-technical information
  • Experience in an area or program helping troubleshoot various system or user PRISM issues
  • Experience teaching, training and/or sharing PRISM functionality with extended work team

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
