The Supplier Assurance organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join our team in a critical supplier engineering role within the New Product Introduction (NPI) team in the Texas Area, supporting Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile (HACM). The Senior Supplier Engineer will be involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products.
You will provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance. You will be involved in all phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementation. You will ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier's technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule. You will drive Raytheon design requirements to improve the manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. You will initiate continuous and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability.
This position entails assignment as a Senior Commodity Supplier Assurance Engineer in the Dallas, Texas region of the US and is remote. Visits to local Supplier facilities will be required and will require a home office be maintained. Candidates are expected to travel domestically up to 60% of the time, to include driving up to 300-mile radius with some flying as needed.
