The Military Engines Sustainment Quality team is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer who is energetic and motivated to conduct process and product audits, initiate and manage Quality Notifications, manage the Quality Clinic, initiate continual improvement initiatives, modify/generate quality documents and review/approve first article inspection documentation.

What You Will Do:

  • Communicate with various levels of management to identify Military Engines supplier quality risks and mitigation plans.
  • Collect and analyze process data to minimize workflow disruptions and eliminate nonconformances/escapes.
  • Review and approve supplier First Article Inspections (FAI).
  • Actively work within the SAP system to process/close out quality notifications (QN), research component/module history and identify service master activity.
  • Facilitate investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • First Article Inspection (FAI) experience.
  • CORE/Lean Six Sigma Experience.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, quality manuals, and other detailed instructions.
  • Quality Clinic experience.
  • AS9100/AS9110 experience.
  • CORE Champion or working towards CORE proficiency.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications to include: MS Word, Access, Power Point and Excel.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD.
