Manufacturing Engineer

Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control.

Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC program, and gauge plan with Siemens NX.

Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment.

Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers' feedback.

Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion.

Initiate continuous improvement activities to existing manufacturing system and its related processes.

Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programs.

Put up justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX).

Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent): Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Precision, Manufacturing, Material)

Minimum years of experience in role: At least 3 years’ of relevant working experience

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Strong understanding and hands on with precision machining tool (CNC 5-Axis /lathe / milling etc.).

Team player and able to work closely with other teams on cross-functional projects.

Competent in Unigraphics and/or other CAD/CAM applications.

Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

Good analytical, communication and interpersonal related skills.
