Internship - Winter 2026 - Manufacturing Engineer

Internship Dates: January 6th to April 24th, 2026. Location: 189 Pratt & Whitney Drive Aerotech Business Park, Enfield, Nova Scotia, B2T 1L1, Canada.

Our expectations:

You will be responsible for the creation of technical documentation and NC programs related to our safety and quality programs, lead Projects, design various manufacturing components, create 3D models and work instructions.

If you are a professional able to work quite independently and have a thorough knowledge of the discipline and the role, we invite you to apply.

What your day to day will look like:

  • Manage projects for the production and development of parts.
  • Support the implementation of advanced manufacturing lines.
  • Support of multidisciplinary teams for the realization of projects.
  • Plans, prepares and develops computerized manufacturing instructions (MOS). This involves preparing and editing partial illustrations of engine parts in CATIA V5.
  • Interpret and validate technical requirements of customer designs and specifications.
  • Issue and manage requests for changes to NC programming and tool design.
  • Create/design 3D Modelling of manufacturing fixture or components in CATIA V5.
  • Define tools for the assembly or control of parts in collaboration with related services.
  • Interprets complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Provides the assistance required to solve issues with ongoing processes.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing workshop and suppliers.
  • Implement working standards to improve quality and robustness of manufacturing processes.

What you need to be successful:

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Assets:

  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing.

Work Environment:

  • Onsite only- 8am to 4:30pm.
  • Office environment with some time spent in manufacturing lines.
