Intern for the Survivability Discipline Group - Project Engineer who supports a variety of basic activities in the discipline. Manage small capital projects, develop scope documents, lead process improvement initiatives, and lead environmental health & safety (EH&S) change initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Assist in the management and execution of various capital projects
• Cradle to grave execution of EH&S management of change (MOC) initiatives
• Manage the receipt of purchase requisition (PR) requests and support PR submissions in procurement tools
• Estimate, track, and report project costs and schedules

Qualifications You Must Have

• Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Safety, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA Certifications (30-hour General Industry)
• Experience producing technical documents
• Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
• Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
• Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams
• Experience developing specifications, scope of work documents, and financial justifications
