Interns/Coop at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. We're looking for students with an engineer's curiosity, an explorer's heart, and a perfectionist's grit to help us build the future of aerospace.

Whether supporting Mature Commercial Engines, our industry-leading Geared Turbofan engines, Military Engine programs, Operations, or Business Support functions, the objectives of our program are to help you to develop an understanding of our industry, our company, its operations, and how each discipline and department contributes to the success of our products and customer partnerships. What You Will Do

• Participate in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budget.
• Monitor progress, identifies and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules and ensure smooth project operations.
• Gathers data to monitor project progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specification to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives and budgets are achieved.
• Maintains plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure established targets are met.
• Responsible for project assignments with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Hot Section Engineering is responsible for the design, development, technology maturation and in service support of all diffuser cases, combustors, turbines (vanes, blades, rotors and cases), augmenters (military), nozzles and associated fuel systems for all military, commercial and industrial engine models and radial auxiliary power units.

Technical disciplines in HSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Durability and Product Definition.

This position is classified as hybrid. Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
