Internship Opportunity At Pratt & Whitney

Pratt & Whitney's Compression Systems Module Center (CSMC) is seeking an intern to be part of the Manufacturing Engineering team. The position offers the opportunity to work on the most complex components in the engine and learn the dynamics of a cross-functional team. Between executing producibility projects, supporting new product introduction, and working hand in hand with our talented team to solve problems, an internship with CSMC will give you the experience you need for a successful future!

Responsibilities and opportunities:

  • Support Manufacturing Engineers to execute producibility and cost of poor quality projects
  • Support development projects to meet customer commitments
  • Learn root cause and corrective action methods and apply them to solve manufacturing problems
  • Support Manufacturing Standard Work events to drive proper flow of parts through production cells
  • Update work instructions to ensure adherence to requirements

Qualifications you must have:

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 30 credits prior to starting your internship

Qualifications we prefer:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
