We in the Military Aftermarket organization play a critical role in supporting the airpower needs of the United States Military and its allies by sustaining fleet readiness. Military Engines Aftermarket Operations – Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (ME-MRO) is responsible for overhauling and repairing P&W Military Engines such as the F119, F135, F100 and F117 in support of worldwide fleets. The Military Engines Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) has operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Columbus, Georgia; and United States Air Force bases across the world.

What You Will Do

  • Join our team within the military engines aftermarket operations finance group supporting the F100, F117, F119 and F135 programs.
  • Participate in the financial closing process including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Use your problem-solving skills on intercompany and receivable issue resolution.
  • Do process mapping, procedure documentation, and process improvements.
  • Be highly collaborative, financially savvy, and passionate about your work.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 30 credits prior to starting your internship.
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and consistent record of collaboration, flexibility, innovation and initiative.

The salary range for this role is $37,000 - $82,000 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
