Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.
As an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead within Life Cycle Engineering, you play a critical role in ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time.
This is a full-time onsite position based in Aurora, CO.
What You Will Do
- Integrate Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Testability, System Safety and Logistics into product designs and generation of allocated requirements.
- Translate and allocate requirements into distinct resource definition and development tasking (support equipment, spares, manpower, facilities, technical documentation, training).
- Translate customer requirements into executable engineering tasks that meet contractual obligations within cost and schedule boundaries.
- Establish maintenance concepts and support systems framework and plans for life cycle sustainment.
- Guide a team in development of sustainment products.
- Plan and contribute to proposal efforts.
- Lead internal and external customer reviews.
- Brief senior management on status and critical issues.
- Regular interface with Program Management, Functional Management, Customers, Suppliers, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Engineering.
- 10-15% domestic and international travel may be required.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
- Experience with the preparation of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) artifacts in compliance with business processes (IPDS & EVMS).
- Experience developing Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of, and ability to work within, the Agile Scrum development process.
- Experience in Systems Integration Lab (SIL) management and utilization in customer scenario training.
- Experience with simulation tools to develop realistic training scenarios.
- Experience in coordination and communication with vendors and sub-contractors.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent.
- Experience writing Bases of Estimate (BOEs).
- Strong understanding of the development flow from early foundational logistics, through support resource definition, support documentation development, fielding assessments and in-service support.
- Understanding of availability and maintainability data collection and analysis.
