What You Will Do

  • Support manufacturing processes including: work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and work flow
  • Conduct studies on standard timings and provide analysis for productivity
  • Execute engineering changes using Run & Hold process
  • Create, discuss, and lead change control tasks/tickets
  • Manage moderately sized projects or processes
  • Collaborate with support team to solve complex problems
  • Develop plans to manage day-to-day challenges
  • Some travel to local Iowa regional sites

  • You will learn how to be an industrial engineering technician supporting various high-frequency communication radios & circuit board manufacturing processes
  • Engineering tools used in the build & test of HF and Tacair radios. (SAP, Engineering drawings, change control board/JIRA, CSI, eView, PDM, Enovia, etc.)
  • You will gain experience with standard work tools and processes. They will execute CORE certification

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in electronics and manufacturing

The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
