We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive high-visibility initiatives revolving around material management. The mandate of the selected candidate will be to provide project leadership in various projects supporting Pratt & Whitney Canada's aftermarket organization.

Relying on strong project management skills along with influential leadership, the candidate will be accountable to initiate, lead, and deliver various types of transformational projects within set timelines and budgets. Project scope includes supplier management activities and material flow optimization.

A key to success will be to have or to develop a strong network with our numerous internal stakeholders (Commercial Services, Program, Service Network, Vendor Management, and many others).

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on material availability, inventory optimization, and supplier performance.
  • Manage end-to-end material management initiatives, procurement coordination, and material flow from suppliers to production.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, KPIs, and executive dashboards for reporting on material readiness and supply chain health.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, procurement, and logistics teams to align material readiness with program schedules.
  • Identify bottlenecks, shortages, and risks in the material supply chain—then develop action plans to resolve them.
  • Serve as a key liaison with strategic suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure real-time alignment.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field (Master's or MBA a plus).
  • PMP or relevant project management certification preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing with a focus on supply chain or material management.
  • Proven success leading material-related projects across multiple sites or business units.
  • Expertise in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS) and inventory control best practices.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, just-in-time (JIT), and supplier management principles.

This position is based in a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires a functional knowledge of English in order to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may come from international organizations, as well as to write and occasionally communicate in English with clients, suppliers, or international colleagues.
