Field Service Supervisor

Raytheon's Field Engineering team is seeking a Field Service Supervisor. In this dual role you will provide technical and business support, leadership of employees, set day-to-day operational goals for team, solve routine problems, ensure practices and procedures are followed by direct reports.
This onsite position is in McKinney, TX, participating in offsite locations. Travel is up to 25% CONUS, and up to 75% OCONUS, with short-term notice.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.
Must be willing and able to travel to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, living conditions, etc.) and/or hostile work environment with little notification.
What You Will Do
- Manage a team of deployed field service representatives along with direct report employees.
- Plan and set day-to-day operational goals within a clearly defined area of responsibility.
- Review Field Service Representatives status for accuracy and program compliance.
- Assign tasks to a team to achieve operational targets, service standards, etc.
- Provide day-to-day work direction for team, focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity and resolving operational decisions.
- Communicate with parties within and outside of own team, which may include external customers or vendors depending upon the job.
- Make minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of the work area.
- Ensure policies, practices and procedures are followed by direct reports.
- Manage technical products, services, logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and issues and recommends actions to company or customer representatives.
- Act as local on-site representative to the customer's organization.
- Manage statement of work to meet customer and contract requirements.
- Coordinate travel for employees from gateway into theater and within theater of operations.
- Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications.
- Solve problems through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures.
- Conduct performance reviews and set yearly goals with your team.
- Provide daily reports on both equipment status and personnel status to internal management and our government customer.
- Attend weekly meetings briefing equipment and personnel status to both internal management and our government customer.
- Communicate customer needs and requests to the program in a timely manner.
Secondary Responsibilities to Anticipate
- Ensure field engineers are provided an in-brief regarding the program expectations.
- Assist deployment coordinator to ensure effective employee entry and exit from theater of operations.
- Perform in the capacity of a field engineer requiring oversight of KuRFS Radar and Coyote CUAs platforms on a temporary basis.
- Attend customer meetings if the Field Operations IPTL is unavailable.
- Backup for submitting Trouble Reports to Engineering team and briefing Trouble Review Board on faults.
- Provide input and feedback to trainer and FSR Lead on FSR performance and training needs.
- Review work orders and trouble tickets for accuracy.
- Archive final work orders and trouble tickets into shared library.
- Ensure employees are submitting inventories and conducting scheduled maintenance per program guidelines.
- Hold employees accountable as custodians of government and program property.
- Address issues promptly, which prevents problems from escalating and helps maintain a productive work environment.
- Provide input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years' experience.
- Experience with electronic resources and test equipment used in electronic installation, maintenance, and testing.
- Experience with deployment in a combat environment.
- Experience with developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluations, including written, verbal, hands-on and tactical measurements of training effectiveness / comprehension.
- Experience using LINUX or UNIX.
- Experience managing employees in a deployed environment across multiple CoComs.
- Experience training and guiding large multinational teams.
- Experience briefing senior level stakeholders and U.S. Government customers.
- Comprehension of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process implementation.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working with KuRFs Radars and Coyote C-UAS systems.
- Comprehension of Microsoft Office suite of computer applications.
- Excellent self-starter and ability to align priorities.
- Excellent technical writing, oral communication.
- Knowledge of Sensitive Information Procedures.
