Our Electric Power Systems team within Power and Controls is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented CIPT (Component Integrated Product Team) to drive new product development. What You Will Do
- Assist with creating, tracking, and supporting program plans, including budgets and schedules, helping ensure projects stay on track from start to finish.
- Work with management, suppliers, customers, and technical teams to share updates, gather information, and support team alignment.
- Support design discussions and help prepare presentations or solutions for customers, learning from technical guidance and feedback.
- Participate in engineering investigations to help identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and verify results under supervision.
- Follow engineering standard work and contribute ideas to improve processes and procedures.
- Help respond to supplier or plant site issues, assist in analyzing operational or customer challenges, and implement solutions under guidance to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Proven experience in the design, testing, and manufacturing of mechanical components and systems.
- Strong background in structural and thermal analysis, with proficiency in 3D CAD/design software.
- Skilled in Excel, including advanced features such as VBA and Solver.
- Experience in requirements management using tools like DOORS.
- Familiarity with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) for tracking program performance and metrics.
