The organization responsible for engine development oversees the instrumentation, assembly, and testing of experimental aircraft and helicopter engines. We perform these activities to validate durability, reliability, and performance, and to support the certification of engines and their components. Employees in our organization work in direct contact with the engines and with state-of-the-art aerospace technology.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Coordinate material flow to ensure efficient engine assembly and test operations.
  • Support purchasing for:
    • Engine instrumentation
    • Test components
    • Office supplies
  • Prepare shipments for the Development Engineering team.
  • Support Development Engineers with SAP transactions.
  • Manage contractual purchase orders.
  • Maintain engine records and archives.
  • Manage the process for work permit and travel requests.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Experience managing material flow in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in procurement and purchasing management.
  • Experience using SAP.
  • College diploma (DEC) in a technical field or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a logistics management role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
