CDS Collaboration Services Lead

The CDS Collaboration Services Lead will deliver transformative digital services which simplify, accelerate, and modernize the secure workplace experience. This individual will partner with security, real estate, and government relations partners to develop, authorize and implement technology-enabled operating models which maximize the flexibility, utilization, and customer experience of secure spaces. This role will also oversee the development and release of secure data services, including enterprise cross domain solutions, third party collaboration, and data management.

The CDS Collaboration Services Lead will partner closely real estate and security teams to establish secure workplace design and technology standards which align with existing organizational guidance. They will support the implementation of standard intake and assignment processes for secure facilities, maximizing the flexibility and dynamic allocation of space through technology-enabled turnover and sanitization processes. They will develop and release data transfer, sharing, and retention services which enable secure workplace initiatives, accelerate collaboration between RTX business unit teams, and reduce the risks and costs of classified data management.

The role is hybrid in either our Tewksbury, MA - Richardson, TX, - Tucson, AZ facilities. It requires a U.S DoD SECRET clearance in order to be considered.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement technologies and operating models for reservable, dynamically allocated secure workspaces which simplify secure space management and optimize the use of secure facilities.
  • Establish reservation models and platforms aligned to enterprise standards. Partner with real estate and security teams to integrate and streamline all aspects of secure workspace management, simplifying the program experience across all RTX business units and teams.
  • Develop technologies and processes which integrate the systems required for dynamic allocation of secure space, including access control systems, network hardware, collaboration capabilities, and enterprise networks. Partner with suppliers to integrate innovative reservation, provisioning, and turnover systems.
  • Oversee an enterprise support model for collaboration spaces and services, including executive support.
  • Develop and release data transfer, sharing, and retention technologies which accelerate secure collaboration and reduce risk associated with classified data handling.
  • Implement cross domain solutions which enable transfer of data between classifications, authorization boundaries, cloud services, and third-party connections.
  • Implement an enterprise support model for data services, reducing the time and compliance burden on engineering and support teams across RTX.
  • Partner with security to develop and implement data retention services which improve data security. Partner with Enterprise Services teammates to harmonize information labeling and handling across all RTX data types and classifications.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 12 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 10 years experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • U.S DoD SECRET Clearance is required in order to be considered for this role.
  • Must be eligible for a U.S. DoD TOP SECRET security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with secure collaboration services, including secure USG networks.
  • Experience with video teleconferencing and collaboration technologies.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and authorizing cross domain solutions (CDS) and controlled interfaces.
  • Knowledge of applicable USG regulations, including NIST 800-53, JSIG, DAAPM, and ICD-705.
  • Team leadership experience, preferably in a matrixed environment.
  • Project management experience, including financial oversight and risk/opportunity mgmt.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
