As a Calibration Technician, Test Equipment Services at Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the measurement systems that support our mission-essential aerospace programs. This position is focused specifically on physical and dimensional calibration disciplines, including temperature, torque, pressure, force, mass, and related measurement systems. Working onsite, you'll take ownership of complex calibration and repair activities, ensuring equipment meets stringent aerospace standards and remains fully compliant, traceable, and audit-ready.
In this hands-on technical role, you'll apply strong electronic theory and advanced troubleshooting skills while working from minimal documentation to diagnose, adjust, and restore precision measurement equipment. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional partners, contribute to the development of improved calibration processes, and help drive continuous improvement across the lab and supported sites. The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
