Software Engineer

This opportunity is for a Software Engineer who is eager to share their talents with the Surveillance team. The individual will be responsible for performing development and verification of different protocols and applications such as ADSB-In, Traffic Apps, IO, Maintenance, OMS, Dataload and core modules.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Verify Avionics DAL B products in CNS Domain.
• Develop common supporting tools necessary for the development/verification.
• Execute unit, integration, and system-level tests for embedded surveillance software.
• Develop validation tests.
• Participate in peer reviews of requirements, design, and code to ensure high software quality.
• Support software audits and reviews by certification authorities.
• Document test results, raise anomalies, and ensure timely resolution of software issues.
• Work with amazing architects and senior developers to create scalable, extensible, and sustainable solutions. Build CI/CD pipelines, work with Dev-OPS team, for streamlined and effective deployments.
• Troubleshoot build issues and support deployments.

Basic Qualifications:

• B.Tech/M.Tech with understanding of Avionics Systems/Software Architecture – CNS, FMS, FCS or Displays.
• Strong proficiency in C++, Wind River OS, and Python with independent developer experience.
• Solid background in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): requirements, design, coding, integration, and verification with exposure to DO-178C.
• Core expertise in V&V, SCA, debugging, troubleshooting, white-box, and unit/integration/verification testing.
• Experience with hardware–software integration and board-level debugging.
• Hands-on with tools: PyATE, RapiTest, Git. 2-4 Years of Avionics Experience.
• Experience working on Agile Methodology.
