The Integrated Solutions Modeling and Architecture (ISMA) directorate is composed of an energetic multi-disciplinary team of over 300 engineers working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide mission level modeling & simulation of sensing & effects capabilities from seabed to space, multi-level operation analysis, integrated system of system architectures and operations research. We are at the front end of the business pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity to establish next-generation mission solutions from system level up to campaign-level.

What You Will Do

  • You will contribute your knowledge of programming, data analysis and problem-solving to modeling and simulation or related efforts.
  • You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving input and guidance from functional management, project leads, and more experienced teammates. You will gain an initial understanding of operational analysis by participating in either mission or campaign analysis, or other related projects.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must be a Senior, or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2026 and pursuing a BS or MS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Experience with data analysis using tools like Excel, Python, Minitab and JMP
  • Experience working with teams

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Specific majors: Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or related scientific or STEM discipline.
  • Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Git, databases, Linux/UNIX
  • Knowledge of C++, Java, MATLAB
  • Awareness of Six Sigma Techniques
  • Experience with any modeling and simulation software

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
