Raytheon Semiconductor Foundry Team Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a college graduate to join our semiconductor foundry team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.

What You Will Do

• Work in a cleanroom environment
• Handle GaAs and GaN wafers
• Assist with various lithography, deposition, and etch processes
• Perform and document optical microscope inspections
• Perform scanning electron microscope imaging
• Failure analysis and data analysis

What You Will Learn

• Wafer fabrication techniques such as lithography, deposition, and etch processes
• Optical and scanning electron microscope imaging techniques
• Data analysis and troubleshooting techniques

Qualifications You Must Have

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
• This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

• Relocation Eligibility

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
