Manager Of Inflight Services

The New Pacific Airlines Manager of Inflight Services is responsible for the management and supervision of all cabin operations activities and the inflight team for Boeing 757 operations. This position also serves as a liaison for regulatory authorities, original equipment manufacturers, and other external entities relevant to cabin operations. The Manager of Inflight Services is accountable to senior management for ensuring the safety and security of cabin operations. Other responsibilities include:

  • Promoting safety in all areas of the Company's operation and ensuring compliance with Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) as they pertain to inflight services.
  • Acting with integrity by ensuring all of the flight attendants are adequately trained in accordance with all CFRs and company policies, providing continuous development and participating in the qualification of personnel.
  • Maintaining the reliability and integrity expected of leadership within the organization by completing important administrative tasks in a timely manner, including personnel recordkeeping for the department and the implementation and consistent execution of regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing training documentation, including flight attendant checking records, and administering or overseeing completion of competency checks for all flight attendants to promote connectedness and ensure all flight attendants are properly performing their inflight duties.
  • Demonstrating commitment to the success of our operation by working closely with departments across the organization, such as assisting Commercial with inflight promotional projects as needed and collaborating with Crew Scheduling.
  • The creation, revision, and oversight of the Company's Approved Exit Seating Program and Accepted Flight Attendant Manual, ensuring the continued safety of our passengers and integrity of our operations.
  • Promoting commitment by engaging in courteous and respectful interactions with senior leadership, various team members including direct reports, and business associates.

The successful candidate is a leader in their field and can comfortably wear the many hats required in this position. They are open to taking on new challenges that arise in a dynamic operation and grow with our organization. Other qualifications include:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Must have experience as a flight attendant, ideally in a Part 121 environment with Boeing 757 aircraft or must, within 6 months of hire, be certified as a Boeing 757 flight attendant.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of management experience, preferably managing employees across several locations.
  • Must have a high proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must have professional recordkeeping and clerical experience, preferably from experience in a manager role.
  • Must be highly knowledgeable of applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs) and with regulatory language and processes.
  • Must be able to learn the Company's Flight Operations Training Program (FOTP) Flight Attendant modules and elements and draft new or update existing processes/procedures as needed, ensuring training is up-to-date and prepares team members for success in the Flight Attendant role.
  • Must have previous professional experience writing policies, procedures, and/or company manuals.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills and a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with many different audiences.
  • Must stay current in all flight attendant qualifications and participate in flight attendant line-flying duties on regularly scheduled routes and/or charters as other responsibilities permit.
  • Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
