The role of Production Engineer is broad, spanning production, quality control and supply chain activities. You will manufacture our "off-the-shelf" kits, which in our case refers to lab-based production with small-volume handling. For materials not produced directly by you, you will contribute to routine quality control (QC) testing to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
We are a small company and therefore all of us have diverse responsibilities to ensure smooth operations; from raw material handling to finished product in the hands of our customers world-wide.
At Rarity, you will find dedicated, performance-oriented colleagues, a culture that values openness, respect, and diversity, and the chance to make a difference in a pioneering setting.
The role is based in our office in Uppsala Science Park. Our operations adhere to the ISO 13485 quality management system for medical devices.
We believe you thrive in a practical, hands-on role and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You have a background in life science, from studies and direct lab experience. Most importantly, you love working at the bench!
You are structured and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to follow established protocols and ensure accuracy in your work. At the same time, you bring flexibility and a collaborative mindset, developing in a small and growing organization where responsibilities often span across multiple areas.
At Rarity Bioscience, we believe in fostering a vibrant and collaborative work environment. We have co-located all functions in a modern office in Uppsala Science Park and we regularly organize team get-togethers and off-site events to strengthen our bonds and celebrate our successes.
