As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing a team of engineers to ensure that technical projects are delivered efficiently and successfully. You coordinate and support technical development, monitor project progress and ensure that the teams meet their goals. You will also work closely with clients, stakeholders, and other internal teams to develop sustainable and innovative solutions that support the energy transition and help close the gap between the current state and the desired future state of sustainable development. S4I's main focus is plant engineering for hydrogen projects and decarbonization projects.
You will join the Solutions for Industry Department, Finland/Global and will work on interesting projects that will drive the shift toward cleaner energy and a brighter tomorrow.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Management and leadership: Management of a team of engineers and technical specialists. Promoting a collaborative and productive work environment. Conducting regular team meetings and individual performance reviews.
Project management: Planning, scheduling, coordination and monitoring of technical projects. Ensuring that projects are completed within the given timeframe and budget. Manage resources and priorities according to project requirements.
Technical expertise: Provide technical guidance and guidance to the team. Support in solving complex technical problems. Ensuring the quality and reliability of technical products and solutions.
Communication: Reporting to the management on the progress and results of the projects. Coordinate with other departments and external partners to meet project requirements. Presentation of technical concepts and project results to stakeholders.
Budget management: Development and management of the budget plan for technical projects. Monitoring the financial aspects of project work.
