✨ About The Role
- Responsible for co-owning core infrastructure and backend services, including creating new frameworks and libraries for product team use
- Lead backend product development by building new features, ensuring high standards for security, privacy, reliability, and performance
- Collaborate with the engineering team to plan, scope, execute, test, and release scalable services, infrastructure, and products
- Work closely with the co-founder/CTO and founding engineering team to define engineering culture and drive company growth
- Utilize a tech stack including Typescript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, AWS, and Terraform
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced backend engineer with a passion for user-driven product development and a track record of shipping high-quality code
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and SQL, with the ability to lead backend-focused product development projects
- Autonomous and communicative team player who values user experience and product quality
- Comfortable working in a small team environment, taking ownership of projects and contributing to company culture
- Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and willing to dive deep into unfamiliar codebases to deliver results
