Rakuten Business Service Planner

We aim to strengthen our mobile services for corporations and establish them as a core pillar of our business. Recognizing the accelerating adoption of DX (Digital Transformation) within companies, we provide innovative services that leverage mobile technology to its fullest, thereby solving our clients' challenges.

This position belongs to the Service Planning Department and is responsible for planning and providing optimal solutions, primarily centered on mobile services, to address the needs and challenges of corporate clients. Due to business expansion, we are seeking talent to plan and promote mobile services for corporations. Specifically, we are looking for individuals who can lead the planning of new services that meet corporate clients' mobile communication needs, improve existing services, and formulate business strategies to achieve these goals. We are seeking immediate contributors who can accurately grasp market trends and customer needs, create innovative mobile services, and accelerate the growth of our corporate mobile business.

You will be responsible for planning and strategizing a range of services, from general corporate mobile voice/data lines to unique Rakuten Mobile corporate products/services, and combining third-party services with Rakuten Group companies' corporate services. You will also be involved in sales planning. We aim to create unique Rakuten value that can be offered to customers by collaborating with personnel from each of the Group companies. We are looking for individuals who want to create new services that existing carriers don't offer, and who can develop plans that are unique to Rakuten.

Formulate service strategies for corporate business, and plan products/services.

Review legal/financial business requirements, simulate service profitability, and compile budget and staffing plans.

Collaborate with Rakuten Group companies to plan and promote new businesses utilizing the Rakuten Ecosystem in the B2B domain.

Develop new sales channels and services in collaboration with non-telecom industries.

Consolidate customer feedback received during service provision, prioritize new service releases, and improve existing services.

Collaborate with third-party vendors for sales support and negotiate terms.

Plan sales strategies, including solution building and targeting customer extraction, and create service proposals.

Organize external seminars, etc.

You will work in a dynamic and expanding organization, collaborating with internal and external teams. We utilize the latest IT tools and systems, including AI, to support efficient work execution. The team consists of members in their 20s to 40s. Members with diverse backgrounds, including those from the telecommunications industry and manufacturers, are present. New graduates from Rakuten Group are also actively involved, promoting projects with their respective expertise in a vibrant atmosphere.

Practical experience in planning or promoting corporate services (3+ years). Experience taking responsibility for product sales and executing measures is a plus. Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Proven track record in strategic planning, planning, and promotion of SaaS implementation or H/W-related projects. Advanced understanding of API, cloud, and security, and the ability to apply them to business strategies. Leadership skills and the ability to engage others. Business-level English proficiency (as communication with internal and external parties may be required).
