Marketing Division leads the areas of brand, creative, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization, with the mission of expanding the membership value and ecosystem of the Rakuten Group, which has more than 70 services.
Group Marketing Governance Department contributes to maximizing marketing effectiveness by providing mechanisms to maintain consistency and unity in marketing across the entire group. Our mission is to provide "Rakuten ID system" as a platform which connects wide variety of services organically, and enable our customers use our services safely at ease, maximize Rakuten membership value.
We are promoting projects to ensure that Rakuten members, who are the core of the Rakuten Group, can use various services more safely and securely. As the importance of these initiatives continues to grow, we are seeking a member to lead the projects, and team in future to strengthen our driving force.
In the marketing organization that oversees the entire group, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing strategies to strengthen and develop Rakuten ID, and deploying them to each service. As a platform that organically connects a wide variety of services, to enable customers to use services safely and securely, you will conduct market research and monitor competitive trends while working closely with each service, departments related to privacy and security, development team, etc., and lead the introduction of new authentication methods, UI/UX improvements, and enhancement of the accuracy of member information.
- Consideration and formulation of strategies and measures such as the introduction of new authentication methods, UI/UX improvements, and enhancement of the accuracy of member information
- Research and organize requirements, issues, impacts, etc. for the realization of proposed plan (surveys, analysis, documentation, etc.)
- Consideration and decision-making of measures mainly in collaboration with stakeholders within the group
- Planning of user communications such as announcements and FAQ creation
- Roadmap creation and task management for project implementation
- Identification, resolution, and management of risks and issues in project execution

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders in both technical and non-technical roles (the ability to organize business requirements and accurately convey them to development)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in organizing business requirements
- Project management experience (schedule management, risk management, reporting)
- Experience with projects involving dozens or more stakeholders
- Experience working in multicultural teams
- Experience in functional development related to ID, security, or identity verification
