Position: Product Manager (Middle Level)

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Product Manager (Middle Level) to take ownership of specific products. This role involves understanding business needs, translating them into system requirements, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives.
Position Details
Product Ownership
- Take ownership of one or more specific products.
- Manage and prioritize initiatives and backlog ensuring alignment with defined product roadmaps.
Requirements Analysis
- Collaborate with business to understand their daily processes, challenges, and specific system needs.
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements in a clear and structured manner.
Solution Delivery
- Partner closely with Engineering teams to ensure solutions are built according to specifications and meet quality standards.
- Participate in design discussions and provide input on user experience of your products.
Stakeholder Communication
- Coordinate communication between various business groups and technical teams regarding the progress and status of your products.
- Clearly communicate requirements, changes, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to partner with business representatives to identify needs, define, and document clear system requirements.
- Experience in translating business problems into actionable solutions.
- Familiarity with product planning and project management concepts.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Good problem-solving and issue resolution skills.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to take initiative and contribute beyond direct instructions.
- Excellent communication skills (Business level proficiency in Japanese and English is required).
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
- Familiarity with change management principles or contributing to new process/policy development.
- Experience in documenting and reporting project status or feature progress to stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of budgeting or resource considerations in project contexts.
- Ability to contribute to the conversion of complex business functions into initial technical specifications.
