Position:
The core business of the Rakuten Marketing Japan Department / LinkShare Japan Business is affiliate advertising. The growth of the affiliate advertising business is inextricably linked to the expansion of our affiliate media network, which currently comprises 1 million sites. Moving forward, the key functions for growing the affiliate advertising business will be to cultivate new affiliate media and launch new affiliate media. We are looking for an individual who can proactively drive these important tasks.

Position Details:
This position is responsible for the mission of cultivating and launching new affiliate media, handling new business negotiations obtained through inbound and outbound efforts, proposals, and launching projects. Essentially, this is a new proposal department specializing in handling appointments from negotiation to launch. Rather than product-out sales, we provide solution-oriented proposals to media partners based on the affiliate scheme. For proposed products, in addition to our proprietary platform specializing in affiliates, you will be responsible for planning, designing, proposing, and closing the optimal plan for media monetization, problem-solving, and business growth from a diverse range of proposal options, including marketing solutions utilizing product feeds and network partnerships, and other Rakuten Group knowledge/case studies. LinkShare Japan exclusively holds certain advertiser resources within the Rakuten Group's services and major domestic e-commerce companies. Main responsibilities include planning and proposing the cultivation of affiliate media and the launch of new affiliate media, proposing monetization support for various media utilizing affiliate advertising, and managing the progress of partnership operations. You will also be responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders necessary for the execution of organizational strategies and tactics, and proactively solving customer challenges using AI and the latest industry technologies.
Work Environment:
Organizational structure: This position will be assigned to a department with approximately 200 people, where 50% are sales professionals. The overall mid-career hire rate exceeds 70%, with employees from diverse career backgrounds actively contributing. Average overtime hours: Approximately 1-2 hours/day. Backgrounds of mid-career hires: Mid-career employees with various backgrounds, both experienced and inexperienced, are active, including those from internet services, advertising agencies, web media, travel agencies, and translation companies. Mandatory Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in problem-solving corporate sales (experience in advertising/internet industry welcome, new business sales experience welcome)
Desired Qualifications:
- Corporate sales experience in affiliate advertising, display advertising, or listing advertising. - Corporate sales experience at a digital marketing company / internet advertising company, advertising-related company, or internet media operating company. - Experience in new project management. - Experience in team management of 5 or more people. - Experience in business improvement or product development utilizing AI. - Basic knowledge of marketing or digital marketing.

Secondment: This position is with Rakuten Group, Inc., but upon joining, you will be seconded to LinkShare Japan K.K. The salary system, benefits, and evaluation system will be the same as those of Rakuten Group, Inc.
English Qualification: TOEIC score of 800 or higher (or proof of equivalent English proficiency, or a university degree or higher from an English-speaking country). Proof of qualification is required by the time of the job offer.
