Rakuten Mobile Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Division leads brand, creative, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to expand Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.

We believe that the mobile domain is a platform that plays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.

We will increase the number of new Rakuten Mobile subscribers in the web marketing area and promote expansion of market share.

The Digital Marketing Section will promote the planning, implementation, and analysis of web marketing strategies to acquire new Rakuten Mobile customers using media outside the Rakuten Group (SEM, SNS advertising, affiliate marketing, SEO, etc.).

Rakuten Mobile is a new business and continues to grow at a phenomenal speed in the industry. To further develop marketing initiatives, we need to strengthen the structure of our marketing department.

We are looking for people who are willing to take on the challenge of changing the industry together with us.

Position Details:

  • Planning, implementation, and analysis of web marketing strategies: Devising measures to increase the number of new subscribers and analyzing their effectiveness.
  • Utilization and management of affiliate programs: Selecting affiliate advertisements and links, calculating rewards, etc.
  • Implementation of SEO strategies: Selecting keywords, optimizing content, acquiring external links, aiming for higher rankings.
  • Operation and effectiveness measurement of digital advertising: Operating SEM, SNS advertising, measuring effectiveness, and optimizing.
  • Website improvement and content strategy: Proposing website improvements and developing content strategies to enhance user experience.
  • Research and analysis of market trends of competing companies: Understanding market trends and the movements of competing companies and reflecting them in measures.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience in SEO strategies and operation of digital advertising (SEM, SNS, Affiliate advertising)
  • Experience managing and leading a small organization

Desired Qualifications:

  • Business English
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry

Languages: English (Overall - 2 - Intermediate), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
