Position: Data Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

The role will build and maintain the reliable, scalable infrastructure powering our data systems, ensuring high availability and performance for ML-powered product development.

Position Details

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure for large-scale data platforms and analytics workloads.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for data applications and infrastructure deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of data systems and distributed infrastructure.
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements for data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable deployment and operation of data pipelines.
• Manage containerized data applications using Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Mandatory Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and infrastructure automation.
• Strong programming skills in scripting languages: Python, Bash, Go, or similar.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
• Experience with Big Data infrastructure technologies (Hadoop clusters, Spark on Kubernetes, Kafka operations, etc.).
• Understanding of network security, IAM, and data governance in cloud environments.
• Strong execution skills and have a problem-solving mindset.
